Sailing Lessons
This course starts out on land with an overview of the standard sailboat components and theory behind sail power. You'll then depart for the Bay aboard a sloop rigged 13' Flying Junior under power of an outboard motor. Once about a mile offshore you'll head upwind and hoist sails. Now its time to put theory to practice. You'll sail a variety of points, learning how to properly trim sails for each. At the conclusion of your Session, you'll have sailed single handed and gained enough knowledge to do it again and maybe even on your own.
